  • The Iowa State University Cyclones faced off with No. 1 University of Minnesota Gophers on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa, the home of the Iowa State University Cyclones. The Cyclones lost the meet to Minnesota with a 27-12 score. The Gophers have an overall record of 14-1 and a 7-1 record for the Big 10 Conference. The Cyclones have and overall record of 9-7 with a Big 12 Conference record of 1-2.
  • Sous chef and assistant manager for ISU Dinning Kevin Streiff holds up his trophy spoon from the Special Olympics Iowa 2013 fundraising event, The Gourmet Gala: An Experience in Culinary Excellence. The event features a competition between five ISU Dining chefs. Streiff has won the competion twice; in 2010 at the first annual gala and again in 2013.
